The EPIC U.S. Economic Brief

The definitive quarterly report on the U.S. economy for busy professionals.

COMPREHENSIVE

I provide a comprehensive overview of the U.S. economy, including national output, income, and spending; labor markets; business production and sales, prices and inflation, housing markets, government finances, and monetary policy and financial conditions. If a subject is necessary to understand the state of the U.S. economy, I discuss it.

CONCISE

Brevity is key. I spend the time filtering signal from noise so you don’t have to.

INDEPENDENT

Epic Econ provides independent, non-partisan economic research. I criticize or commend policy rather than people or party, based on the evidence, with a focus on how the decisions of elected leaders will impact the economic well-being of consumers and businesses across the country and world.

CURATED DATABASE INCLUDED

The EPIC U.S. Economic Brief comes with a curated database of U.S. macroeconomic time series in Excel or CSV form. Conduct your own analysis in minutes. I’ve tracked down and cleaned the data so you don’t have to.
